I’m an independent audio producer based in Austin, TX (right behind this fence).
I work across all aspects of audio production: developing a show concept and identity, consulting, producing, editing, and sound designing.
Until recently, I developed new shows at Gimlet Media.
There, I produced investigative and narrative series, interview shows, talk shows, audio memoirs, and radio diary pieces. These projects called for making sense of hundreds of hours of archive tape, tracking down the origins of 18th-century songs, interviewing people about their (lack of) sex life, and crafting the audio equivalent of a tracking shot that brings listeners inside a Broadway theater.
